OVERVIEW
With thirty years in the craft beer industry and a burgeoning market, Deschutes Brewery wanted to expand their community of craft lovers with a low-alcohol option. They challenged us to design something completely different from their current catalog, debuting their new low-alcohol brew with a distinct look.
Cutting through the visual noise in the craft category, Extra!’s design boasts juicy ingredients that pack a punch. Photomontages with a pop of color emphasize the ingredients and depict the extraordinary experiences that await with every sip. The typography draws from towering sans serifs seen in breaking editions of newspapers and grabs the attention of shoppers scanning the crowded cooler.
